Auditions for "Shipwrecked..."

An adventure tale like no other! Shipwrecked! is a playful, fast-paced theatrical romp based on the supposed memoirs of Louis de Rougemont, a would-be Victorian explorer. Told with wit, heart, and a healthy dose of imagination, the story leaps from the streets of 19th-century London to exotic islands, flying wombats, sea monsters, and beyond. With only three actors playing dozens of roles, this play celebrates the magic of storytelling and theatrical invention.

ROLES AVAILABLE:

This is an ensemble piece for 3 versatile actors. All roles are open to performers of all races, genders, and backgrounds. Strong physicality, character work, and comic timing are essential.

Louis de Rougemont – The charismatic and possibly delusional narrator of his own grand tale. Must have strong storytelling ability and the charm to carry the show.

Player 1 – Plays a variety of roles including Louis’s mother, Queen Victoria, and many others. Strong character and accent skills required.

Player 2 – Plays roles such as Bruno the dog, Captain Jensen, and numerous other characters. Requires physical versatility and a sense of fun.
