Eclipse 2024

Eclipse - Black crop

The Total Solar Eclipse will be passing right over Stonehenge II on April 8, 2024, and we are ready for you!  We are planning to have several food truck options onsite, Beer tent, and hygiene stations on our closed campus.  There are several options for visiting the Hill Country Arts Foundation:

Reserved parking:  Your $100 fee will reserve a parking spot on the grounds for you and your friends.  Be sure to select tickets with the right number of passengers to provide wristbands for everyone in your vehicle.  Parking opens at 9:00 am and you may remain onsite until sundown.

Individual Site Access Fee: If you are planning to park elsewhere and walk in, this purchase gives you a wristband and full access to the site.

Boondock your RV:  There are 18 Boondock RV sites available for the 2024 Eclipse Celebration that will be available for rent with a 2 night minimum.  However, all of our sites are completely dry sites.  All sites included an 2-day Tow Vehicle Permit that allows ONE vehicle to park in your site PROVIDED IT FITS WITHIN THE LINES OF YOUR SITE.  Tow vehicles cannot block the roadway and will be subject to towing at the owner’s expense if not properly parked.  Advance reservations are required for all RV sites. RV reservation fees require you to select the appropriate number of passengers in your vehicle.

NO GENERATORS permitted to operate from the hours of 10:00 am – 2:00 pm the enjoyment of all visitors to the Foundation.

RV’s must be setup NLT 6:00 PM on the 7th of April, 2024.  Late arrivals will not be honored in order to keep our grounds safe for pedestrian traffic.

Tent Camping:  HCAF is offering primitive camping spots near the river for your enjoyment of the Eclipse Event.  Advance reservations are required for all Tent sites. Tent site reservations require you to select the appropriate number of occupants for your site.

Does not include vehicle parking fee or Site Entry Fee

SETUP:  Parking and camping spots are located about ¼ apart.  You will not be permitted to drive to your site to unload your equipment so plan accordingly (collapsible wagons are your friend).

FOOD & BEVERAGES:  A variety of food and beverages are available from vendors during the day of the eclipse. NO BOTTLES, CANS, OR ICE CHESTS are allowed in the Stonehenge Field (please support our vendors!), but are permitted in the campgrounds.  Campers may bring anything from the bare minimum to elaborate cooking gear. Ice will be available for purchase at the Foundation HQ.

TOILETS / SHOWERS / WATER / ELECTRICITY:  Toilets are available on site, however, there will be no shower facilities or electricity available.  There are several free-standing water spigots available on a first-come first-served basis. Water is free, but do not leave a hose connected to the spigot. Although many campers bring their own drinking water, filtered drinking water stations are available in the Foundation HQ.

No FIRES will be permitted on site.  The only exception to this is self-contained grills or propane camp stoves.
