Learn
the art of pottery making on the
potter’s wheel. This workshop will
be an extensive hands-on approach to
beginning pottery with emphasis on
wheel throwing by master potter Mark
Jackson. Beginners will learn basic
wheel skills: centering, opening,
pulling, shaping trimming and
finishing, as well as preparation
for glazing. As a beginner, the
student will be making variations on
the basic cylinder, such as mugs,
vases, and bowls. |
