Krispen Spencer attended Stephen F.
Austin State University in
Nacogdoches, Texas where she earned
a BFA in Theatre. She received a MA
in English specializing in Creative
Writing at Midwestern State
University in Wichita Falls, Texas
and attained a MFA in Art at the
Texas Woman’s University in Denton,
Texas. She held the position of
Administration Manager at the
Business of Art Center in Manitou
Springs, Colorado which included
three different galleries. She was
assistant professor at the
University of North Texas in Denton
where she taught courses in
creativity and creative writing.
