This
workshop will cover the use of Solar
Plate etching, on it's own or in
combination with other printmaking
techniques, like monoprint and
woodblock, along with Chine Colle'
and drawing. The bottom line
of this workshop, however, will be
geared towards making your ideas
turn into successful prints. This
will be explored by discussions in
composition, color, texture and
line. Some of this will be going
back to basics but for some, this
will just be learning to look at
their work with a fresh eye.
There are usually several ways to
solve a problem so the direction of
the workshop will more than likely
revolve around those options as they
arise. So bring your ideas,
problems, transparencies and an open
mind. |
