Linda Nowell began her career while
living in the panhandle of Texas. In
1999 Nowell attended a local pottery
class. This is where she discovered
the three-dimensional aspect pottery
offered. Prior to this Nowell had
expressed her artistic abilities
through oil painting & pastels.
Nowell’s unique pottery style is a
product of being a self taught
artist & working in an area isolated
from other potters. She has
continued her education by attending
pottery classes in Oklahoma City,
Taos, San Angelo & Gruene. In 2007
she moved to the Texas Hill Country
to further her pottery career & to
obtain better access to educational
opportunities. Nowell has received
numerous awards including the
“Peoples’ Choice Award” at the 2006
National Ceramic Show in San Angelo,
TX.
