Explore methods to create surfaces that produce unusual effects. Enjoy applying paint in ways other than with the brush. Be willing to react to the results in a new way. This class will remove any inhibitions you may have when approaching that big, empty white surface. You may work on paper, canvas, or any surface you wish. (This might be a good time to try a different support from the one you frequently use.) You don't have to be a "pro" to come to this workshop. Remember: It took "pros" to build the Titanic. The Ark was built by amateurs!

Linda Hammond is a member of the Society of Layerist in Multimedia and a Signature Member of Texas Watercolor Society, National Watercolor Society and the Western Federation of Watercolor Societies. Her work is included in The New Creative Artist by Neta Leland (2006).
