Janice Hamilton
September 21 – 23, 2010

This
workshop is designed to help the
beginning and intermediate artist unify
their paintings. Having judged many
shows Janice has seen many paintings
with beautiful subject matter that do
not relate to the background or other
parts of the painting. Emphasis will be
placed on incorporating subject matter
with the background by use of design,
color, value and intensity. Each artist
is encouraged to work on their own level
using either their own landscape photos
or still life subjects that will be
furnished. Students will receive
individual attention.
Students may bring one of their finished
paintings the first day for critique.
This will let Janice to enjoy their
strengths and assist with questions that
they may have. Students may work in oil
or pastel. |
