EvAngelos Frudakis is one of
America’s most significant
twentieth-century sculptors. One of
his well-known works, “The Signer”
monument is located outside
Independence Hall in Philadelphia.
Frudakis studied art at the American
Academy in Rome, the Pennsylvania
Academy of Fine Arts and the Beaux
Arts Institute of Design in New
York. He has received numerous
awards including “Prix de Rome”
national competition. He is the
founder and president of Frudakis
Academy of Fine Arts located in
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
