Week I, “ Alpine Chargers”
June 13—18, 2010
These plates portray the life and history of the
Alpine region. They feature the peasants, their
houses, the cows, and the beautiful Alpine
flowers. This is a journey up into the Alps! |

Week
II, “Pinocchio”
June 20—25, 2010
Here is the story of the world’s most
famous marionette! Collodi’s Pinocchio
comes to life. His birth, his adventures
on the way to school and the circus, his
trip astride the giant fish, as well as
his search for truffles is portrayed!
Also, Italian flowers and scrolls will
be taught on this beautiful little
table. Sigh up early—this class will
fill fast!
Week
III, “Texas History”
June 27—July 2, 2010
True Texas history that is still
celebrated to this day! Easter fires,
Colonial Leader John O. Meusebach, the
Comanche Indian Chief, and the brave
pioneer mothers and children are all
painted on this beautiful small writing
desk. This desk even has room for an
antique ink well, or a small flower
vase! A Texas palette completes this
piece. |

Heidi
England has been teaching American
and European Folk Art for 40 Years.
She began her teaching career in
Tulsa, Oklahoma, then Houston,
Texas, and now she travels all over
the United States and the world. Her
teaching has taken her to Australia,
Canada, France and Japan.
England has published four books,
numerous design packets, and she is
a contributing artist for national
and international art magazines and
books. She is an active member of
the Society of Decorative Painters,
and a founding member of the
Decorative Arts Collection.
“One of the highlights of my life is
teaching along the banks of the
Guadalupe River at the Hill Country
Arts Foundation in Ingram, Texas,”
says England. Her 30th year is
coming up!
