Learn to create luminous paintings by pouring fluid acrylics onto a horizontal canvas. Krispen will teach this experimental workshop to anyone willing to come with a “beginner’s mind.”

Krispen Spencer attended Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas where she earned a BFA in Theatre. She received a MA in English specializing in Creative Writing at Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas and attained a MFA in Art at the Texas Woman’s University in Denton, Texas. She held the position of Administration Manager at the Business of Art Center in Manitou Springs, Colorado which included three diverse galleries. She was assistant professor at the University of North Texas in Denton where she taught courses in creativity and creative writing. With her artistic talent and knowledge, she has also excelled in the area of marketing. These experiences include the title of Creative Director with Crane and Company Marketing and Advertising and also the Marketing and Personnel Director at the Southwest National Bank in Wichita Falls, Texas.
