Starting each morning with a demo,
students will learn basic print
techniques as an abstract foundation
for collages. No previous printing
experience required. The application
of color and collage is an exciting
process. This class takes the
collage process beyond the basics.
Instructor will demonstrate how the
printing press can be an integral
part of the collage process. Then
skins, stamps, papers and transfers
can be added. As the class proceeds,
students will work on value, color
movement and composition. Final
classes will be devoted to design,
concentrating on strengthening
paintings to fill them with energy
and life. Students will work at
their own pace and in their own
style.
