Join
an adventure in imagination to
create a unique and whimsical form
of sculpture. After using copper and
stained glass in an assemblage to
create shape and design, the fun
begins. Add wire, marbles, recycled
items, and found objects. The more
you think “out of the box” the
better! Previous skills in workshop
with stained glass, including
soldering, are a plus but not
necessary. All supplies will be
included, however if you own a
soldering gun please bring it with
you. Deb’s work can be viewed on her
website:
www.debgioia.com.
Deb Gioia (pronounced joy-a),
born of Italian immigrants, was
raised in St. Louis, Missouri. While
living there she earned a Bachelor
of Arts in Psychology and a Master’s
degree in Counseling. However art
was a recurring theme throughout her
life, methodically developing her
talent while pursuing other
interests. In 2004, after several
years in private practice, she moved
to North Padre Island, Texas to work
full time as an artist.
