CREATIVE WATERMEDIA
February 12 - 14, 2008
9 am - 3 pm

Tuition: HCAF Members $175; Non-members $195

During this fun workshop, students will be encouraged to pursue their own original style while working with the water media of their choice. Emphasis will be on discovering originality and creativity within. This is not a “paint-along, do as the teacher does” class. The focus will be on “loosening up” both in application of the media and in creative thinking.

Jerry V. Seagle graduated with honors from the University of Texas at Austin with a BFA in Painting. He received a graduate fellowship to further his studies at the University of the Americas in Mexico City.

Jerry relies on the strength of design and rich color to create his bold compositions. He works with various media: acrylic on paper, collage and mixed media on paper, acrylic on canvas and Prisma Colors. He combines the freedom and expression of Abstraction to suggest and evoke rather than direct the viewer.

Jerry's one-man shows number more than 200. He has receive more that 350 awards in regional and national exhibitions. His paintings have been reproduced in several articles on experimental painting.
