It’s Not Easy Mixing Green
March 18—21, 2008
9 am—3 pm

Tuition:
Members $175
Non-members $195

Let’s explore the world of green. Blue greens, yellow green, brownish greens. Learn to see, identify and mix a much wider range of greens. The class will examine what makes color come forward toward the viewer or recede into the distance and over the far hill. Students will then use these different greens to paint a tree scene and explore some tree forms.

You Go Nowhere in Neutral
October 14 - 17, 2008
9 am—3 pm

Tuition:
Members $175
Non-members $195

Don't just let your paintings idle in dull neutral colors. REV them up by adding more color. This class will experiment by painting a little on the "wild side".

Do your paintings seem to wind up all the same value or all dull colors? In this class, students will be taken down a different road by using more variety of color in each value area. Join us and see how this will give more vibrancy and life to your paintings.

Weather permitting the class will paint outside at least a couple of times during this four-day workshop. Students should bring photos or ideas for a landscape they would like to try.
