WATERCOLOR SIMPLIFIED
October 8 – 12, 2007

This workshop allows the student to paint any kind of subject matter, while they are given fundamental principles that include simplifying drawing, color mixing with limited palettes, value painting, direct painting without drawing with pencil on the paper, scaling up, the use of the golden mean, thumbnails, etc. A critique is given on the first morning of the class of work students have done on their own outside of classroom environment. Each student receives individual attention. All level students are accepted in this workshop.

Pat Weaver is a National Watercolor Teacher with 30 years of teaching experience. She is a Past President and Signature Life Member of the Florida Watercolor Society, and Signature Member of Georgia Watercolor Society. Her book on watercolor, titled "Watercolor Simplified" was published by North Light Publishing and was selected by the North Light Book Club as the book of the month selection for January, 2004.
