Starting each morning with a demo,
students will learn to work with
acrylic/watercolor, oriental or found
papers. The application of color and
collage is an exciting process, but to
take it further, the instructor will
demonstrate how the printing press can
be combined with collage. Other
techniques shared will include using
texture (3-D objects), transfers, skins,
stamps and papers. As the class
proceeds, students will work on
relationships of value, color, movement
and composition. Final classes will be
devoted to design, concentrating on
strengthening an emotional painting with
energy and life. Students will work at
their own pace and their own style. An
extended day of guided opportunity will
be available on August 24th.
Tuition: HCAF Members $250; Non-members
$275; Extended Day $25 |
