EXPERIMENTAL WATERMEDIA
& COLLAGE

October 23 - 27, 2006

The excitement of designing with collage materials, plus various watermedia, is a stimulating stretch for your creativity! Exploring the use of different papers, demonstrations teach how to select the paper that is most compatible with various techniques. Intermediate and advanced painters will be challenged to take risks, get out of their comfort zones and find the uniqueness only they can express! They will be given individual attention and are encouraged to bring additional examples of their work for assistance in directing them toward their goals. Slide programs, discussions, plus group critiques, emphasize concept, design, values, color, form and line.

Tuition: HCAF Members $340; Non-members $365

Carole Myers’ experience and dedication to sharing with her students have made her workshops in demand coast to coast, plus Hawaii, France and Mexico. A Signature member of the American Watercolor Society and the National Watercolor Society, she is also active in the San Antonio Watercolor Group and the Texas Watercolor Society. A winner of more than three hundred awards, including the High Winds Medal Award in the 122nd Annual Exhibition of the American Watercolor Society.
