A WATERCOLOR WORKSHOP
May 29 - 31, 2006

Emphasis in this transparent watercolor class will be on using a simplified palette of pure, clean color and letting large sections of it mix on the paper. Further emphasis will be put on painting light to dark in stages around saved whites, high chroma and medium value colors. Additional emphasis will be on making good shapes and directions from puddles of this clean color. Elements and principals of design, pattern schemes and types of composition will be covered. One of the main objectives is to have FUN. All of the above is a means to that end.

Tuition: HCAF Members $200; Non-members $220
