Instructor:  Clint Kastner
PHOTOGRAPHY, SEEING & COMPOSITION

July 14 - 16, 2006

Would you like to take better pictures? Then this class is for you. Digital technology has made it easier than ever to take and print our own pictures. The point and shoot cameras have lessened the need for technical knowledge when it comes to the use of cameras today. Why then are there so many bad pictures being taken? The answer: The esthetic aspects of good composition have not been addressed. This class will show students how to properly see and compose a photograph. Students should be prepared to go out on short shooting assignments. The film or digital files will be processed locally and there will be a critique of each student’s work. The students’ equipment should include a 35mm film or digital camera (No disposable cameras).
Class is open to all ages from 14 and up.

Tuition: HCAF Members $50; Lab fee for film processing $25
