Pastels

Instructor:  Janice Hamilton
PASTEL ON ACRYLIC WASH
March 30 – April 1, 2006

This pastel workshop is designed to enable artists to get more color vibrancy from their pastels. The class will be using acrylic paints and soft pastels on Kitty Wallace sanded paper. Demonstrations in both still life and landscapes will be presented. Some still life set-ups will be provided. Landscape artists will need to bring their own photos. Both beginning and advanced artists will enjoy this technique. Plan to learn and have fun.

Tuition: HCAF Members $125; Non-members $135

Janice Hamilton is equally at home in oil, acrylic and pastels. She has a degree in education and is teaching art in private classes and for Texas Instruments Art Club. She was featured as one of the “master pastel artists of the world” in the INTERNATIONAL ARTISTS MAGAZINE.
