OIL PAINTING - BEGIN WITH COLOR

3’S IN MOTION WITH DRAMA
April 19 - 21, 2006

All artists have their distinct style and approach to painting. The important parts to a painting are the color, composition, motion, and drama. The color and composition are pretty much the norm for anyone that has painted, however the two things that are often left out of a painting are the motion and drama. This is the real difference between just a pretty picture and a painting with impact. In this workshop the class will be working with a limited palette, an open mind, and 3’s in motion to produce the drama, and have fun doing it. At the end of the workshop students should have that impact in their work.

Tuition: HCAF Members $175; Non-member $190
