PMC and POLYMER CLAY
August 11 - 12, 2006

Create unique jewelry combining silver Precious Metal Clay (PMC) and polymer clay in this fun two day workshop. Using special techniques of manipulating polymer clay and other materials participants will make “jade”, “coral” and “turquoise” to combine with pure silver PMC for beads and jewelry pieces. Participants will be introduced to the different brands and types of polymer and PMC, the tools and techniques used to manipulate these clays, and how to fire and finish each of the clays. The gorgeous setting at the Hill Country Arts Foundation at the junction of Johnson Creek and the Guadalupe River make this a perfect weekend of fun and learning along with the beautiful pieces of jewelry each student will take home. No experience necessary. All materials and supplies included.

Tuition: HCAF Members $250; Non-members $275
