Drawing

Instructor:  Bill Strain
ANYONE CAN LEARN TO DRAW!
Thursdays, April 7 - 28, 2006

Yes, it is a fact; anyone can learn to draw! This class will begin with the fundamentals, including: blocking in, outline, tone shadow, distortion, composition, perspective, blending, etc. But don’t worry, things will not be allowed to become dull or intimidating. In this class students can learn to “draw good” with a little humor thrown in for free. Students will be given the opportunity to explore - cartooning, story illustration, “wash” drawings, tinted drawings, etc. The instructor will “tune in” to helping the student discover what kind of work they want to do.

Tuition: HCAF Members $75; Non-members $85

Bill Strain has taught adult art classes extensively throughout Texas and in Atlanta, Georgia, in association with Del Mar College in Corpus Christi, Brookhaven College in Dallas, The FrameUp, Brothers Two Gallery and Dos Patos Gallery in Corpus Christi. This teaching experience includes watercolor, drawing, figure drawing and portrait drawing.
