PHOTOSHOP FUNDAMENTALS - One day workshop
Jan 21, Apr 22, Jul 8, or Oct 14, 2006; 9 am - 4 pm

Learn the basic tools and what you can do with your photographs. Have fun swapping images or pasting together unusual combinations of images. See how to resize, adjust colors, change levels of both value and color, add texture and other images, utilize layers and much more. Bring any photos you would like to experiment on and see how to scan them into the computer and then print them on photo paper for a whole new look. Create collage family photos for your albums.
The possibilities are endless!

Tuition: HCAF Members $75; Non-members $85 Supply fee: $5


HOW TO ENTER SHOWS DIGITALLY
February 21, 2006
9 am - noon

This half day class will show the artist how to scan images of their artwork and use Photoshop to resize and save images on a compact disc (C. D.) for competitions. This class can be for you whether or not you have these computer capabilities at home. Once you have the know-how the HCAF computer lab is available to artist members for a lab fee.

Tuition: HCAF Members $40; Non-members $45

Marsha Mefferd has a Masters of Science degree in Art Education from Texas Tech University and has 25 years experience teaching art, photography and digital graphics to high school students.
