HANDMADE VALENTINES
January 14, 2006
1 - 4 pm

The instructor will first speak with students about a “theme” for their personal Valentines. Following that, the class will talk about the process of making cards. The instructor will bring a scrapbook with her own Valentines to show the students samples of the themes she has used in the past. Students should be able to produce six to twelve Valentines during the class and more at home if they wish.

Diane Henry has a BA in sculpture from Trinity University in San Antonio, TX. She has had her own business, Diane Henry Designs, for more than 30 years. She produces work in sculpture, collage, graphic design, murals (in homes and businesses) and painted furniture. She has worked with Camp Arrowhead (now Honey Creek) for 25 years.
