Kathy Joiner: Time Explored
A group of symbols that bring logic to chaos. Ancient and comforting - Mysterious and wise. Condensed to a minimal image, they form designs that offer and ever-changing visual mystery.

Kathy Joiner, now a resident of Lakeway, Texas, graduated for Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Arts in History. As an artist, Kathy began to enter art competitions in 2002. She has been recognized by acceptance in many exhibitions and has earned Merit Award and one Second Place award in the Wimberley Valley Art League juried exhibitions and a Merit Award in the Georgetown 2008 Art Hop. She is currently a member of a newly formed critique group lead by Jerry Seagle.

Jerry Seagle: Humanity
The word “Katrina” evokes many visual images. An event that displaced objects, emotions, and humanity. The turmoil, the confusion and the chaos are represented. The people are what tie this series together. They are the ones that will make the difference.
