“ARTISTS GONE WILD”
A Gala to benefit
HCAF Art Department
November 4,
2006
What comes to mind when you think of the Texas
Hill Country? Is it the wild game? Or the lavish
art community? Well for one night and one night
only you can get them rolled into one at the
“Artists Gone Wild” gala at the Hill Country
Arts Foundation. This event filled with art,
fun, food and entertainment will be held
Saturday, November 4, 2006.
Approximately 100 works of art will be donated
by hill country artists and placed on display
for the Extraordinary Small Works Exhibition and
Silent Auction, October 4 – November 4. Silent
bidding will be open on these pieces throughout
the exhibition. The exciting final hours of
bidding will take place during the gala. In
addition to the silent bidding “going wild” that
evening, there will be a live auction of
featured artwork.
There will a smorgasbord of wild game cuisine to
keep the “packs” fed while SOL PATCH will be on
hand with the music to soothe the savage
“beasts.” And to make sure the evening doesn’t
get tame, there will be hidden surprises that
could leap out from anywhere.
Tickets are $25 per person and may be purchased
by calling the gallery office at 830-367-5121 or
1-800-459-HCAF. The Hill Country Arts Foundation
is located at 120 Point Theatre Rd. South in
Ingram, TX just five miles west of Kerrville off
of Hwy 39.
This event has been made possible by generous
underwriting of Sue Hovey, Catherine Massaro,
Hildegarde and Jim Slaughter and Joyce and
Walter Troegel.
