Judge: Mark Jackson
Mark is a long time Hill Country Artist and a past member and president of the Hill Country Arts Foundation. Mark holds a BFA in painting and ceramics. He has given workshops and demonstrations on pottery techniques throughout the area. Mark is also a graphic artist serving as co-producer and art director for the Kerr County People Magazine in Kerrville, TX. He was awarded the 2015 Kerr County Legends of Fine Arts for his contributions to the arts in Kerr County, and was awarded the West Kerr Chamber of Commerce “Citizen of the Year” in 2015.

Judge: Holly White-Gehrt
Holly White-Gehrt is a graduate of Georgetown Atelier, where she studied with Tenaya Sims, and of Gage Academy’s Aristides Atelier, where she studied with Juliette Aristides. She also holds a BFA from Pacific Northwest College of Art, where she graduated with the Governor’s Award for Thesis Work. She began her art studies at the Aegean Center for the Fine Arts in Paros, Greece, and continued to broaden her range of practice, including two years of Zen Brushwork with a master in Japan. Egg tempera is her current passion.
